About BOB™
The Build Your Own Business™ (BOB™) Program was designed to help clients who have expressed an interest in running their own business. It assesses certain personality traits, such as sociability and assertiveness, as well as a person's interest in certain types of business models. Realistic advice and links to helpful websites are included so that clients can grasp the important issues facing them as they examine their suitability to pursue different business models.
It is highly recommended that the CES™ be taken first. It has a short screen to determine whether one should continue on to the BOB™. It will also give feedback on areas of interest, job possibilities and educational needs, as well as a detailed workbook, that can be a tremendous help to clients considering starting their own business.
The BOB™ Personality and Business Model Assessments have yet to be empirically validated for reliability or construct and criterion validity. The assessment results should only be used by you as a general guide, a tool for your exploration and to help you develop your ideas, not as a psychological or personality test or for employment purposes or any other purpose. The statistics will be published on-line once the appropriate validation data analyses have been completed.
